Aplin, Christopher D'Oyly Hale (1819 - 1875)

Born: 1819  Cawnpore, India.  Died: 9 September 1875  Somerset, Queensland, Australia.
Christopher D'Oyly H. Aplin was the first Government Geological Surveyor of Southern Queensland 1868-69. Earlier he was employed by the Geological Survey of Victoria 1856-68.
