Einstein, Albert (1879 - 1955)

Born: 14 March 1879  Germany.  Died: 18 April 1955.
Albert Einstein was the originator of the special and general theories of relativity, 1905 and 1916, which assumed the constancy of speed of light in a vacuum, particle-like properties of light and relativity of motion and rest. He worked in Germany and the USA.
