Born: 10 October 1912  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 14 October 1977  Canberra, Victoria, Australia.
Arnold Hughes Ennor was Secretary of the Commonwealth Department of Education and Science 1967-73. Earlier he was Professor of Biochemistry 1948-67, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University, Canberra. In 1954 he was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA).
