Mitchell, Thomas Livingstone (1792 - 1855)

Born: 15 May 1792  Grangemouth, Lanark, Scotland.  Died: 5 October 1855  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
(Sir) Thomas Livingstone Mitchell was Surveyor-General of New South Wales 1828-55 and led various expeditions into eastern Australia 1831-36, and tropical Australia 1845-46.
