Born: 15 December 1891  Norwwod, South Australia, Australia.  Died: 15 February 1963  Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Herbert John Wilkinson was Foundation Professor of Anatomy (1936-1959) and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (1936-1938, 1954-1957) at University of Queensland. Previously he had lectured in anatomy and histology at the University of Adelaide and at the University of Sydney. Wilkinson became an expert in neuromuscular research.
