Gibson, Alexander James (1876 - 1960)

Engineer
Born: 18 December 1876  London, England.  Died: 2 December 1960  Cammeray, New South Wales, Australia.
Alexander James Gibson was Assistant Lecturer in Engineering, Building and Design at the University of Sydney from 1903. In 1910 he was appointed found- ation Professor of Engineering at the University of Queensland. In the 1920s he moved into private practice as a consulting engineer.
