Jones, Inigo Owen (1872 - 1954)

Born: 1 December 1872  Croydon, Surrey, England.  Died: 14 November 1954  Crohamhurst, Queensland, Australia.
Inigo Owen Jones trained with Clement Wragge 1888-1893 and took up meteorology as a hobby while working on the family farm. In 1923 his long-range forecasting gained attention and he took up full-time forecasting, lecturing and writing from 1927.
