Lowrie, William (1857 - 1933)

Born: 18 October 1857  Selkirkshire, Scotland.  Died: 20 July 1933  Echunga, South Australia, Australia.
William Lowrie was Professor of Agriculture and Principal of Roseworthy Agricultural College, South Australia from 1888. After a period of teaching in New Zealand he was Director of Agriculture in Western Australia from 1908 and of South Australia from 1912.
