Harris, William John (1886 - 1957)

Born: 10 December 1886  Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 26 June 1957  Beaumaris, Victoria, Australia.
William John Harris joined the Victorian Education Department in 1902 and was headmaster at Echuca High School 1923-42 and Warrigal High School 1943-52. He published many scientific papers on Victoria's regional geology and became a world authority on graptolites.
