Pollock, James Arthur (1865 - 1922)

Born: 17 November 1865  Douglas, Cork, Ireland.  Died: 24 May 1922  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
James Arthur Pollock was appointed second astronomical assistant to the New South Wales Government Astronomer in 1886. He graduated BSc at the University of Sydney in 1890 and was appointed demonstrator under Threlfall. In 1899 he was appointed Professor of Physics.
