Born: c. 1880  Victoria, Australia.  Died: 20 November 1932  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
William Heber Green spent 34 years at the University of Melbourne, first as a student then as a member of the chemistry department. He was promoted to senior chemistry lecturer in 1923.
