Born: 17 January 1881  Aston, Warwickshire, England.  Died: 24 October 1955  London, England.
Alfred Reginald Radcliffe-Brown was Professor of Anthropology, University of Sydney 1926-31. He first visited Australia in 1910 to join E.L. Grant-Watson and D. Bates on an expedition to the north-west to study remnants of Aboriginal tribes.
