Jones, Philip Harrhy (1931 - 1994)

 
Environmental engineer
Born: 30 January 1931  Wales.  Died: 22 September 1994.
Philip Harrhy Jones was Head of the School of Environmental Engineering, Griffith University 1991-94. He was previously professor of civil engineering and microbiology, University of Toronto, ca 1971-91.

Born 30 January 1931. Died 22 September 1994. Educated Institution of Civil Engineers UK, University of Toronto (BSc) and Northwestern University, Illinois (PhD). Engineering consultant, Ghana, who moved to Canada in 1958. Senior Ford Fellow, University of Toronto 1964-70(?), Professor of civil engineering and microbiology 1971(?)-1991(?). Head, School of Environmental Engineering, Griffith University 1991-94. Member of the board of directors of the Environmental Management Industries Association of Australia 1992-94.
