Meteorologist
Mal Kennedy worked for the Bureau of Meteorology for 26 years, and was Senior Meteorologist in the Hydrometeorological Advisory Service, retiring in 1996. His expertise in hydrometeorology was the cornerstone of the Bureau's Hydrometeorological Advisory Services through the late 1970s and early 1990s, and he worked mainly in the provision of various types of design rainfall information and evaporation information.
