Educator and Meteorological observer

K. C. (Kev) Lomas served in the RAAF Meteorological Service and joined the Bureau of Meteorology after the Second World War. He was involved in setting up the Bureau's Central Training School in 1947, retiring as Senior Instructor Observer in 1979. At that time he was the only observer to represent the Bureau at an international conference.
