Weisser, Frederick Christian (1893 - 1987)

Meteorologist
Born: 1 March 1893  Chiltern, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 21 October 1987.
Frederick Christian Weisser worked for the Bureau of Meteorology for more than 50 years, joining in 1914. He became a Meteorological Assistant in 1929, and was a member of the RAAF Meteorological Service, 1941-1946, being discharged with the rank of Flight Lieutenant. After his formal retirement in 1958 he returned to the Bureau as a temporary employee from 1959–1964, finally finishing his work in the Bureau at the age of 71.
