Haywood, Charles Duncan (c. 1843 - 1920)

Born: c. 1843  Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.  Died: 10 July 1920  Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
Charles Duncan Haywood was a baker in Tasmania during the mid 1800s. He eventually passed the business on to his son who established C.D. Haywood Pty Ltd biscuit company in 1875. Haywood contributed greatly to his home city and was a member of the Hobart City Council mayoral association, the Hobart Hospital Benevolent Society, the Blind Society and the Hobart Temperance Alliance.
