Industrial chemist

Robert Steel Scott was the Victorian agent for Friedrich Krebs (qv). He was a founder in about 1874 of the Australian Lithofracteur Company (Krebs Patent) Ltd, which changed its name after 1888 to the Australian Explosives and Chemical Company Ltd.
