Squire, James (1755? - 1822)

Born: 1755?.  Died: 16 May 1822  New South Wales, Australia.
James Squire arrived in Australia as a convict with the First Fleet. He was one of the earliest, if not the first, to brew beer in the colony and the first to cultivate the hop plant in Australia successfully.
