Chief technical officer, Commonwealth Development & Migration Commission 1928-30. Chemical engineer, I.C.I. (Aust.), 1930-33. Director of Tait Publishing Co., Melbourne, 1933-52; managing director 1952-56. Manager No.5 explosives factory, Deer Park, Victoria, 1940-43; assistant director of food manufacture, Commonwealth Food Control, 1943-45.
