Born Armidale, N.S.W., 28 October 1910; died Melbourne 6 May 1980. Education Sydney University (B.Sc. 1931, M.Sc. 1933). Physicist, Munitions Supply Laboratories, Maribyrnong, 1934-70; Superintendent of the Physics Division, 1961-70. Member, Optical Munitions Panel 1940-46.
