SMITH-WHITE, William Broderick

Born Sydney 14 April 1909. Education, Sydney University (B.Sc. 1930) and Cambridge University (B.A. 1932). Clerk, Prudential Assurance Co., Sydney, 1932-34. Tutor in mathematics, Trinity College, University of Melbourne, 1935-36. Lecturer in mathematics, Sydney University 1937-59; Associate professor 1960-74.
