Managing a Medical Collection in the 90s

Health and Medicine Museums Special Interest Group meeting

Museums Australia 1996 National Conference

2 pm - 5 pm

Wednesday 30 October 1996

The first day of the Museums Australia National Conference is devoted to Special Interest Groups. On that day the Health and Medicine Museums Special Interest Group (HMM) will be holding a meeting on the theme Managing a Medical Collection in the 90s.

A variety of speakers will present short papers (20 minutes) on topics of interest to custodians of health and medicine collections and archives.

If you would like to give a paper; if you have solved a problem at your museum and would like to share your solution with fellow members; if you have tackled a problem and not managed to solve it; or if you have a suggestion for a speaker we should approach - then please contact:

Dr Ian Cope

Accommodation at the Conference

We would like to see as many regional and interstate HMM members as possible at the Museums Australia Conference in Sydney. We cannot offer a bursary, but if having free accommodation would help you to attend please contact Ian Cope. We may be able to billet you with one of our Sydney members.
