Keene, William (1798 - 1872)

Born: 1798  Bath, Somerset, England.  Died: 2 February 1872  Raymond Terrace, New South Wales, Australia.
William Keene arrived in Sydney in 1852 and was examiner of coalfields from 1854. From 1863 he was stationed in the Hunter valley with the additional duties of keeper of mining records.
