Born: 12 January 1834  Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.  Died: 5 February 1922  Catrine, Ayrshire, Scotland.
Haldane Coloquhoun Turriff was appointed as the first Matron of the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne in 1870.
