Denton, Derek Ashworth (1924 - )

Born: 27 May 1924
Derek Ashworth Denton was founding Director of the Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine in 1977. In 1989 he was made Director Emeritus. Professor Denton has been elected to five of the world's most prestigious Academis - Australia, Britain, USA, France and Sweden. Fellow, Australian Academy of Science 1979.
