Born: 26 June 1878 Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. Died: 13 October 1947.

Kerr Grant was acting Professor of Physics, University of Adelaide 1909-11 and Professor 1911-48. he was Chairman of the Optical Munitions Panel 1944-46. A portrait bust of Grant made by John Dowie is held by the South Australian Institute of Technology where Grant was a President.
