Lewin, John William (1770 - 1819)

Born: 1770.  Died: 27 August 1819  New South Wales, Australia.
John William Lewin came to Sydney in 1800 and produced two books in the colony, "Prodromus entomology ..." (1805) and "Birds of New South Wales" (1808, 1813, 1822, 1838) which are among the rarest early publications relating to Australia.
