Maxwell, Leslie Algernon Ivan ( - 1964)

Born: Brockesly district, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 24 April 1964.
Leslie Algernon I. Maxwell was associated with the early development of biochemistry at the University of Melbourne and in 1920 he was appointed lecturer in clinical biochemisty. He made major contributions to the field of allergies but his special interest was in the endocrine glands.
