| Born: 16 December 1884 Melton, Victoria, Australia. Died: 13 June 1947. | ||
| Henry Caselli Richards was Lecturer, 1911-19, and then Professor of Geology, 1919-47 at the University of Queensland. He was chairman of the Great Barrier Reef Committee from 1925 and was a prominent member of both local and national scientific societies. |
