Weindorfer, Gustav (1874 - 1932)

Born: 23 February 1874  Spittal an der Drau, Kärnten, Austria.  Died: 5 May 1932  Cradle Valley, Tasmania, Australia.
Gustav Weindorfer arrived in Australia in 1900 and established himself in Melbourne. He became an enthusiastic member of the Victorian Field Naturalists' Club and was fascinated with native vegetation. He later moved to Tasmania and settled in the Cradle Mountain area.
