Anatomist and Anthropologist
Born: 23 January 1879  Hackney, England.  Died: 29 September 1954  London, England.
Frederic Wood Jones had chairs in anatomy at the University of Adelaide 1920-30, University of Melbourne 1930-38 and the University of Manchester from 1938. Earlier he had been Professor of Anatomy at the London School of Medicine for Women and wrote widely on anthropology.
