Jones, William Ernest (1867 - 1957)

Born: 11 July 1867  Upper Gornal, Staffordshire, England.  Died: 1 May 1957.
William Ernest Jones was appointed Inspector-General of the Insane (1905), later Director of Mental Hygiene, in Victoria and held this office until 1937. He also served on various government inquiries into mental hygiene.
