Herz, Max Markus (1876 - 1948)

Orthopaedic surgeon
Born: 17 February 1876  Bochum, Westphalia, Germany.  Died: 17 December 1948.
Max Markus Herz was trained in Germany and had previously worked in New Zealand. He practised in Sydney from 1910 and was a physician to the State Children's Relief Board. Although blacklisted during WW1 he opened a private hospital in 1921 and remained there until 1948.
