Born: 22 May 1845  Dublin, Ireland.  Died: 11 April 1928  Rose Park, South Australia, Australia.
Alexander Bain Moncrieff was Engineer-in-Chief at Adelaide from 1888 and from 1909 Railways Commissioner.
