Born: 24 September 1857  Victoria, Australia.  Died: 20 September 1934  Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.
Alfred Corker Minchin became Honorary Assistant Director of the Adelaide Zoological Gardens (1891) and in 1893 Director succeeding his father, R.E. Minchin (qv). He remained Director until his death in 1934.
