Martin, Florence (1867 - 1957)

Born: 25 December 1867  Potts Point, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 27 October 1957  Denver, Colorado, United States of America.
Florence Martin studied at the University of Sydney and did research with R. Threlfall 1892-3 and 1896-8, publishing several papers. She also worked at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge. Her work in physics ended in 1899 when she took over the care of her mother.
