Lowe, Ronald Francis Hinde (1913 - 1998)

Ophthalmologist
Born: 14 November 1913  Melbourne?, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 26 March 1998.
Ronald Francis H. Lowe worked at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital for nearly twenty years from 1955. He held many positions there including Dean of the Clinical School from 1962 -1968. Lowe published widely in the field of ophthalmology but with particular emphasis on glaucoma. In 1982 thte Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital's Medical Library was named the Ronald Lowe Library in his honour.
