Born: 29 June 1906  Auckland, New Zealand.  Died: 23 September 1976  Auckland, New Zealand.
Keith Edward Bullen was Professor of Applied Mathematics, University of Sydney 1946-71 but had earlier worked at Auckland University College 1928-40 and the University of Melbourne 1940-45. He studied at Cambridge under H. Jeffreys working on theoretical seismology.

Born Auckland, New Zealand, 29 June 1906. Died Auckland, 23 September 1976. Educated Auckland University College (BA 1926, MA 1928, BSc 1930) and University of Cambridge (PhD 1937, ScD 1946). Teacher, Auckland Grammar School 1926-27; lecturer in mathematics, Auckland University College 1928-31, 1934-40; senior lecturer in mathematics, University of Melbourne 1940-45; professor of applied mathematics, University of Sydney 1946-71. Fellow, Royal Society 1949, Foundation Fellow, Australian Academy of Science 1954; research medal, Royal Society of Victoria 1966.
