Archer, Keith McRae (1905 - 1999)

Born: 18 October 1905  Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.  Died: 1999.
Keith McRae Archer was appointed Commonwealth Statistician in 1962 after joining the Commonwealth Public Service in 1924. He was the Australian delegate to a number of international conferences 1940s-60s.

Tasmanian Public Service 1923; Commonwealth Public Service 1924; Tabulating Supervisor Census 1933, Assistant Commonwealth Statistician 1949-54; Deputy Commonwealth Statistician 1954-62; Commonwealth Statistician 1962-70; Director Australian Association of Permanent Building Societies 1970-75; Associated Director Australian Association of Building Societies 1975-79; Honorary Secretary, ACT Association of Building Societies 1979-84. FRSS (Hon).
