Kenneth Geoffrey Dean was chief research engineer at AWA Ltd (Amalgamated Wireless Australasia) from 1972 to 1982. In all he was at AWA for forty-two years. Prior to that, he worked for the Optical Munitions Panel as a trainee physicist.
