Mankin, Winifred Roby (1902 - 1972)

Born: 10 April 1902  England.  Died: 21 September 1972  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Winifred Roby Mankin initially trained and worked as a research scientist, before turning to medicine. After completing his medical and surgery degrees, Mankin was appointed Resident Medical Officer at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (1939-1947) and then becamean Assistant Ophthalmological Surgeon at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for close to twenty years.
