Gallard, Luke (1864 - 1938)

Born: 3 February 1864  Pennant Hills, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 15 March 1938.
Luke Gallard worked for the New South Wales Department of Agriculture as a Fruit Inspector from 1907. He was an economic entomologist who did good work in investigating life-histories of insects.

Born Pennant Hills, New South Wales, 3 February 1864. Died Eastwood, New South Wales, 15 March 1938. Attended entomology course at Sydney Technical College. Fruit Inspector, Department of Agriculture, New South Wales, 1907- ; in charge of experimental area and Narara Insectarium, Gosford District 1908-11; Fruit Inspector, Ryde-Pennant Hills District from 1912.
