Schlink, Herbert Henry (1883 - 1962)

Gynaecologist
Born: 28 March 1883  Wodonga, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 30 November 1962.
Herbert Henry Schlink was appointed a lecturer in gynaecology at the University of Sydney in 1935. He combined surgery with cobalt ray therapy in treating pelvic cancer and using statistical methods he pioneered the systematic follow-up of cancer patients.
