Shaw, Archibald John (1872 - 1916)

Radio pioneer and Priest
Born: 16 December 1872  Adelong, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 26 August 1916  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Archibald John Shaw started work with wireless telegraphy in 1910 to raise funds for three Pacific missions. He took out a number of patents and supplied radio equipment for the Commonwealth and D. Mawson's Australasian Antarctic Expedition 1911-14.
