Mackay, Iven Giffard (1882 - 1966)

Born: 7 April 1882  Grafton, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 30 September 1966  Lindfield, New South Wales.
(Sir) Iven Giffard Mackay was on the staff of the University of Sydney from 1910, initially as a lecturer in physics and later as Esquire bedell. He had a distinguished record during World War I and was promoted to Brigadier-General.
