Aitken, Alexander

Alexander Aitken was a member of the relief party led by A.W. Howitt which set out in 1861 to search for the members of the Burke and Wills exploration party. The members were lost while crossing the continent from Melbourne to the Gulf of Carpentaria in 1860.
