Milligan, Joseph (1807 - 1884)

Born: 1807  Dumfriesshire, Scotland.  Died: 1884  London, England.
Jospeh Milligan was surgeon to the Van Diemen's Land Company 1829-42 and then held various government positions including that of medical officer and superintendent of aborigines. He was a founder of the Royal Society of Van Diemen's Land.
