Perkins, Arthur James (1871 - 1944)

Agricultural scientist and Viticulturist
Born: 11 May 1871  Ramleh, Alexandria, Egypt.  Died: 23 June 1944.
Arthur James Perkins was the South Australian Director of Agriculture 1914-36. In 1892 he was recruited from Tunisia to be a member of South Australia's Central Agricultural Bureau and Government Viticulturist based at Roseworthy Agricultural College.
