Falvey, William John (1927? - 1961)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: 1927?  Wales.  Died: 1961.
William John Falvey was Production Manager-Head Brewer of Ballarat Brewing Company from 1950 to 1960, then Operating Supervisor of the Altona Petrochemical Company. After completing studies at the Swansea Technical College in the UK, Falvey joined the Royal Navy for 3 years. He then migrated to Australia and began working at the Ballarat Brewing Co. Next he moved on to the Standard-Vacuum Refining Company and later the Altona Petrochemical Company. At some stage Falvey completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) at the University of Melbourne.
